Naming Your Account and Setting Your Bio

This article is a part of Mastering 360Cities guide, chapter for Publishing Panoramas

Your account has a profile URL, name, a bio (description) and profile photo. You can set everything in your account settings.

Step 1: Set Your Profile URL

The profile URL (also called handle) starts with http://www.360cities.net/profile/ and can be anything you want, your real name, your company name or anything else. It defines the URL of your profile page on 360cities.net.

Step 2: Set Account Name

This is the name that appears visually on the site as your photographer's credit. For free accounts this must be your real name only. Company name, nickname or anything else is not allowed to be set as the name of your account or as a part of the name of the account.

To create a new name for your account, select the language of your choice and click the + sign. You can set your name in multiple languages.

Step 3: Account Name for PRO or COMPANY accounts

With a PRO or COMPANY account you can put your company or business name in your account name.
New: You will also get a nice PRO badge next to your name everywhere on the site if you upgrade to PRO or COMPANY.

Step 4: Set your BIO (description)

Your BIO (description) will appear in your profile page. Please describe yourself and make sure it's not empty.

Step 5: Set your profile image

Your profile image will appear on your profile page and also on other parts of the website.

Step 6: Grab the PRO Account Badge
If you have a PRO or COMPANY account you can embed a PRO badge to your personal website. We have many sizes and colors. To get an embed code, upgrade your account and then visit your account dashboard.
